Welcome to the Mr. X Horror Stories Application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). This application provides users with scary horror stories, audio narations, ghost stories, and creepy urban legends.

By installing, opening, or reading horror stories within the Mr. X Horror app, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is processed, and your data protection rights in full compliance with Google Play Data Safety policies.

To deliver horror stories, preserve your reading bookmarks/history, and display contextual ads, we collect minimal technical and usage data:

We DO NOT collect or request your real name, personal phone number, home address, social media passwords, or financial payment details.

The Mr. X Horror app requires minimal Android device permissions to function correctly:

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to fetch new horror stories, stream audio story narrations, and load ad content.
• VIBRATE: Used to provide atmospheric haptic feedback during intense scary moments in stories.
• WAKE_LOCK: Keeps the screen lit while you are actively reading long horror chapters so your display does not sleep mid-story.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Optional): Used to notify you when new creepy stories, daily horror chapters, or special updates are published. You can turn this off in Android settings.

To keep horror stories free for readers, we partner with industry-standard ad networks and analytical SDKs. These third parties may collect anonymized device identifiers:

Information collected inside the Mr. X Horror app is strictly used for:

• Story Reading Experience: Saving your current reading position, dark mode preferences, and bookmarked stories locally on your device.
• Ad Delivery: Displaying non-intrusive advertisements to support free story content updates.
• App Maintenance: Resolving application crashes and optimizing story text rendering across various screen sizes.

We maintain strict security measures to protect your reading data. All data transmissions between the app and servers use encrypted HTTPS protocols.

Retention: Anonymized usage statistics and crash diagnostics are stored for up to 12 months before being automatically purged. Local bookmarks and reading history remain stored on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.

Due to scary themes, frightening paranormal stories, and creepy horror content, Mr. X Horror is intended for users aged 13 and older (Teen / 13+).

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that a child under 13 is using the app, you may request data deletion at any time.

Under international privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), users have the right to request access to their collected data, opt-out of personalized ad tracking, or request complete erasure of their app data history.

In compliance with Google Play Developer policies, you can request the permanent removal of your app analytics data or reset your device advertising ID at any time.

To Reset/Delete Your App Data:

1. Open Android Settings > Apps > Mr. X Horror > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data to erase all local reading progress instantly.
2. To reset your advertising ID for personalized ads, go to Android Settings > Google > Ads > Reset Advertising ID / Delete Advertising ID.
3. Or use the interactive data deletion button below to send an automated erasure notice for analytics data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates or legal requirement changes. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
